More or less born out of frustration, this site aims to bring together the most relevant information about the Maginot Line
in English.
It receives new content on an irregular basis.
The design, the lay-out, the HTML, CSS, jQuery and the texts and image-coördination were done by yours truly.
It has become quite an undertaking to provide this site with content. Initially, the goal was modest contentwise,
but enthousiasm made it much bigger.
It’s amazing how many people are willing to share excellent photographs with you if you just ask them nicely.
I made use of various lay-outs in order to keep the pages as dynamic as possible.
The footer was one of the first elements that was created. I could already see it in front of me before I even started up Photoshop ;)
