It was some years ago that two fanatic climbers joined up and created a clothing brand especially for climbers. I provided them with illustrations for their site.
Some time later, I came up with these proposals to change the
look-and-feel, in order to get closer to the intended audience.
Although they were never used, I like them because of the the used fonts, the lay-out and the photographs.
The photography for the homepage took place in the South of France, near Marseille.
The visual branding was a mix of styles: grunge, vintage ’50-ties graphics peppered with climbers’ paraphernalia.
This site was meant to be build in Flash, although HTML in combination with jQuery would be a perfect
alternative as well nowadays.
