Well executed details

A detail of one of the overall-vieuw maps. You can see the overlapping rectangles, indicating different maps. The red line stands for...the route.

“The route”

Uhm...left, straight ahead

A couple of years ago, I read an article about Paul Benjaminse in the outdoor-magazine ‘Op Pad’ regarding his route to Rome. Some pages of the article were copied and tucked away in a box, waiting to be read again when the time was right.
Thanks to my meticulous filing capabilities (ahum), it was more or less forgotten until they were discovered once again on one of those rainy, boring sundays.
Not long after that, I purchased all the maps/booklets.

Well, I suppose the best way to get to know something about the route is to provide a link to the homepage of the man himself.

If you would like to read impressions of people who made the same journey, I would recommend the link to this site, notably the section "de weg naar het zuiden", third column.
